Design: The ORIGIN’s design has been optimized to guarantee as much lightness and comfort as possible. With our staggered seams, the fabric and its seams work better to keep a smooth and efficient profile and to reduce the deformation of the wing’s shape under load. The control of the profile is ideal to guarantee total stability and comfort during the ride. Small radial cuts are implemented on the wingtips and on the back of the strut to spread tensions. Aligning the fibre exactly along the load paths means that stretch can be controlled to a never-before-seen level on a wing. Located on the back of the strut, our refined Load Diffuser made of overlapping panels of hard Mylar and Dacron further helps maintaining the profile sleek and efficient, leading to the ultimate stability, performances, and longevity. The strut and the two central segments of the leading edge on each side of the strut are made of HITEX 158g. This high tenacity polyester offers great resistance to elongation and therefore greater durability and performances. The remaining segments of the leading edge are made of Dacron 150g to guarantee lightness and comfort. The ORIGIN’s canopy is in TECHNOFORCE™/D2 in 52g, while the thicker TECHNOFORCE™/D2 in 66g is on the trailing edge. These materials are perfectly distributed to account for the different tensions, high pressures, and weight distribution of each area. The central strut is completely straight, which allows us to better control its deformation and possible twisting, while reducing drag. As a result, the infill is a bit lower and deforms less, and is extended almost all the way to the back. ROCKET SUP DW PRO
Featuring a narrower width (17” to 20”), the ROCKET SUP DW PRO is for those seeking maximum performance on their downwind adventures. Available in seven sizes with volumes ranging from 90L to 140 L, this board offers exceptional glide and amazing performance on smaller and faster foils. While its new shape mirrors that of the latest ROCKET SUP DW, the PRO version is narrower, hence sacrificing a bit of accessibility for enhanced speed and glide, making it the ideal choice for experienced downwind riders. These boards are very stable thanks to their ideal volume distribution, parallel outline and very boxy rails in the central part. In turn, they have a lot more glide, making them much easier to paddle and take-off with. With a slightly revised nose and bottom, the ROCKET SUP DW PRO is more tolerant during the take-off phase as well. A large kick at the tail lets the rider pump the board without plunging the tail in the water at every pump. A second small step on the hull was added closer to the tail, on top of the one already present in front of the twin tracks. These two steps effectively reduce drag during take-off accelerations and touchdowns. The second step helps create a clean break to channel the water flow at the back without generating excessive drag when in motion. It will also limit the speed drop on occasional touchdowns. Once on the foil, the ROCKET SUP DW PRO is extremely intuitive, stable and comfortable thanks to an ease to pump and turn. The subtle, recessed cockpit-like deck is now a bit more pronounced, packing a bit more volume in the front and back, and bringing you closer to the foil, leading to excellent control of the board in-flight. The ROCKET SUP DW PRO is ideal for short to medium period bumps (think Mediterranean), while the ROCKET SUP DW COMP will take-off better in longer period swells (think Oahu) that are faster and require a longer and even narrower board. Using a layer of bamboo only on the deck, this construction has been optimized to guarantee the board is as light as possible, all while ensuring strength and durability as well. Naturally, the bamboo version is slightly less stiff than its carbon counterpart, particularly when pumping, but the performance potential on the water is close as both boards have the same shape and program. LINX BAR 4 LINES 2025
The bar itself is small in diameter with a comfortable grip, which is forgiving on the hands. The grip has a rubbery feel with a fine texture. It feels firm underneath and a bit cushier on the top where your fingers wrap around the bar. The integrated floats at the bar ends house the mechanism to adjust the size of your bar. Simply pull down the tag under the bar, rotate the insert and your bar size is changed. You will also have the possibility to adjust your back lines length. The bar features a lifeline now placed into a new rectangular depower sheath for more durability. This new feature prevents the centerline from rubbing against the aluminum tube and will not rub against the user’s fingers. Above the bar, the stainless-steel cleat used to adjust the power has been updated for more simplicity, and the depower system is now thinner and therefore more precise. The LINX BAR offers the option to switch between a low and high V: High V for the BANDIT, BANDIT S, BULLIT, BREEZE V1 and TRUST Low V for the TRIGGER, BREEZE V2 & V3, ONE, and FURTIVE An additional float is placed above the depower system to maintain positive buoyancy if you become disconnected from your bar. The bar’s color-coding is very clear with orange on the left and dark blue on the right. The lines end in lark’s head loops and are being attached to the bridles’ connectors. The quick release features a built-in manual swivel above the push to untwist your lines. The new minimalist below the bar lifeline swivel is now made of a plastic stud and a stainless-steel ring on which you hang the leash. It rotates easily and automatically untwists your lifeline.
